Here at Penbray our aim is, and always has been, to produce sound healthy bull terriers.
Bull Terriers make wonderful family members and great companions but it's a breed that's not for everyone.
However if you have a good sense of humour (and a love of the slightly ridiculous!!!) and above all are happy to have a mini tornado dashing round the house from time to time!!!, you will be rewarded with a loving and faithful companion that will always be there for you.
Bull terriers don't care what they do as long as they do it with you!!

Hello, my name is Barbara Shaw, I live in West Yorkshire and I have owned Bull Terriers since 1975. I was granted my Affix of "Penbray" by the Kennel Club in 1977 and I have been priveledged to own one of this wonderful breed ever since .Throughout this time my aim has always been to produce quality Bull terriers that are not only nice to look at but nice to live with!!, I have admired many breeders achievements over the years but my main influences have been Aricon (Mr Eric Stanley) and Ghabar (Mr & Mrs Bob and Audrey Edmonds).
The watchword here is "Quality Breeding That Breeds Quality"!
I am a member of the committee of The Yorkshire Bull terrier Club and have also recently been elected to serve on The Bull Terrier Club Committee.
Pictured right is Rhinestone Rumour Has It, by our boy Casper, "Lulu" was born in South Africa from Frozen Semen and at the age of just 9 months has gone Best In Show at the Eastern Transvall Open Show.!!
Bred by Gary Evangelides and owned by Albert Van de Merwe. Well Done all!!
